At times, it is difficult to pay for my children’s education when we can barely put food on the table. My name is Helen, and I live in the rural village of Chebaiywa with my seven children. The ages of children are 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22. We live in a small home without electricity or running water. I am making envelopes for the Paper Project, and this has greatly blessed my life. I am now able to pay for food for my family, AND for my children’s school fees! Praise the Lord!
My life has been difficult at times, but I am filled with hope now, because of the income I am receiving from making envelopes for the Paper Project. Let me tell you a little bit about me: my name is Anna, I am 23-years-old, I am not married and have two children who are six-years-old and 12-years-old. I live in the remote village of Emgoin in a small mud home with a grass-thatched roof. I am using the income that I receive from making envelopes to pay for my children’s school fees, which is incredible! In addition to making envelopes, I buy and sell bananas in hope of making some more money for my family. I don’t have any other problems, because, when I get the income from making envelopes, I am able to meet the needs of my family.
My name is Anna, and I am saved! I live in the rural village of Emgoin with my husband and my seven children whose ages are between 2 and 16. I was employed one year ago through the Paper Project to make envelopes which are then sold in the United States. This has been a tremendous blessing to me as I am now able to provide the necessary school fees for my children, and I have no other means of earning an income. Thank you for your assistance in helping my family to break the cycle of poverty.
Although I am young and have a child, I still have a future to look forward to. My name is Lilian, I am 18-years-old and have a 2-year-old child. We live in a small mud home in the remote village of Chebaiywa without electricity or running water. I want to thank you for your partnership in the Paper Project, because it is through this project that I have hope in my heart and am bringing hope to my child. With the income I receive from making envelopes, I use it to buy necessary household items and food, as well as I am already saving for the time when my child will go to school. Thank you for your help!
