You are invited to explore Africa and ELI through a virtual trip. See for yourself, get the inside scoop, and learn more about the powerful ways God is touching the lives of thousands of people and hundreds of villages throughout East Africa. Whether or not you’ve been on a missions trip, this is a great way to experience a new culture and be inspired to live out the Great Commission by championing the kingdom of God through igniting World Changers. Our Virtual Trip Team hosts trips year-round.

What does a virtual trip include? 
With a team of other mission-minded friends from around the world, you will learn more about the realities of life in Africa as well as how the Spirit of God is currently transforming and changing lives. Throughout your five-day virtual trip, you’ll connect real time with dynamic Africans on a mission to change their world. You will learn more about ELI’s ministry with virtual visits to the villages, children’s homes, and training centers. The trip has both virtual and hands-on, at-home activities, as well as a companion devotional. Through all of this, our prayer is that you discover creative options you may never have known existed for you to directly make an impact in the hearts and lives of people around the world. 

Registration Process
The registration process is initiated by filling out an online form through the Empowering Lives International Website (click here to access the registration form). There is no cost for the trip, but you can help cover the cost of the Experience Kit you will receive if you would like to ($25 optional donation).

Next Steps
One week before your 5-day trip, you will have the opportunity to virtually meet and pray with your future teammates and the ELI-USA staff. Once your trip launches, you will be given website portals to access all the information you need to grow and explore the ministries of ELI and the beautiful people and culture of East Africa. This virtual trip is an excellent opportunity for individuals, ministries, families, or church-wide participants.

Daily Time Commitment
Each day’s content will take an estimated 45 minutes consisting of watching videos, completing a devotional, and doing the hands-on activities in your home. Daily you will connect with your team and our guest speakers at 7:30 pm (Pacific Time). Please make sure to mark your calendar for our live conversations.
