Because of God’s miraculous weaving together of a family in desperate need, a local church, and ELI Children’s Homes, Vincent Kiprotich’s life is forever changed! After Vincent’s mother tragically passed away when he was very young, he was left in the care of his aunt, who struggled financially. Life was desperate, yet hope arrived when Vincent’s aunt connected with Empowering Lives through her local church.

Since the day Vincent arrived at Kipkaren Children’s Home in 2017, his life has completely transformed. As he adjusted to his new family and home, Vincent began a transformational journey in this loving, secure environment. Now in 6th grade, Vincent is excelling in his studies and is deeply dedicated to learning. His dream is to become a doctor someday. Of course, his talents go beyond academics. Vincent is also a talented dancer, often taking the lead in dance performances with his impressive moves! He uses some of those same moves on the soccer field as well, where his joy and confidence become contagious.

Spiritually, Vincent has grown immensely as he has developed a deep love for God. Previously unfamiliar with memory verses and prayer, he can now confidently share memory verses, lead prayers, and worship freely —a transformation that speaks to his Christ-centered forever family!

Vincent’s story is a testament to what hope and opportunity can bring to a child in need. Coming from a life of uncertainty, he has blossomed into a bright, talented young boy, filled with dreams for his future! His journey of growth has only just begun as he’s surrounded by the love and support that will help him continue to flourish. We are deeply thankful for those who have supported Vincent on this journey, and we pray he will continue to thrive as a part of our ELI family.
